At University of Maryland Global Campus, we know that cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are synonymous with today's digital landscape and have practical applications across a wide range of fields, even outside of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Organizations are seeking professionals—especially those with non-STEM backgrounds—with strong digital literacy skills, an understanding of cybersecurity concepts, and a healthy curiosity for the next innovation in cybersecurity and AI. Â
To help prepare the next generation of technologically-aware students, UMGC offers CyberTEACH Training specifically for non-STEM middle- and high-school teachers (grades 7–12). The training sessions usually take place once per week over the course of five weeks. Throughout the CyberTEACH (Training Educators in AI & Cybersecurity Holistically) training sessions, our instructors will focus on helping teachers infuse cybersecurity and AI concepts such as cybersecurity awareness, data privacy, online safety, ethical technology use, and innovation in AI into their existing courses.
How to Register for an Upcoming CyberTEACH Session
Register today for one of UMGC's upcoming five-week, in-person training sessions at UMGC Headquarters in Adelphi, Maryland. Please complete and submit the request for information form below to get instructions on how to register for a training session. Each session has a cap of 20 participants to allow for compelling discussions and hands-on experiences. The CyberTEACH training registration form will remain open until the spots are filled. Spaces are filling fast, so complete your registration form today!
If you are selected to participate in a training session, you will not pay any cost or fee for the program. Plus, all selected participants will be provided with the following:
- $1,800 stipend upon the completion of the training
- Laptop computer
- Certificate of participation upon the completion of the training
Keep in mind that food, housing, and transportation are not provided.

They are currently no. 1 in the United States and no. 5 worldwide in the Hack the Box rankings.
