University of Maryland Global Campus requires that you pay your tuition and fees on time. However, your payment due dates depend on how early you register for courses.
Payment Deadlines
If you register any time from when registration opens through 7 days prior to the class start date, your payment will be due 7 days before the class start date. If you register within 7 days of the class start date, your payment will be due on the day before class starts. If you register on or after the class start date, your payment is due at the time of registration.
Please note: All other charges, including application and diploma fees, are due on the same day the charges are incurred.
Due dates are provided at the time of registration and are visible in the Account Balance panel in your Student Account Center.
If you have completed any of the following deferred payment options, UMGC will not disenroll you from your class(es):
- Applied for financial aid to cover tuition and fees for the session
- Enrolled in UMGC's interest-free monthly payment plan
- Provided confirmation that you will receive employer-provided tuition assistance
- Confirmed your status as active-duty military or submitted your military Tuition AssistanceÌý»å´Ç³¦³Ü³¾±ð²Ô³Ù²õ
- ¸é±ð±ç³Ü±ð²õ³Ù±ð»åÌýcertification for your veterans education benefits
Refunds and Withdrawing from a Course
Registering for a course obligates you to pay for it. If, for any reason, you are unable to take a course, please officially withdraw from the course and view UMGC's refund policies to determine whether you will be entitled to a refund. Refunds for drops and withdrawals are prorated, depending on the number of days that have passed since the course start date.

Late Payment
Payment is expected by the due date. If you have not made full payment or payment arrangements by the due date, you may be subject to penalties for nonpayment.
